Brief
The intent was to translate an in-depth study of the classic serif typeface Caslon—its origins, evolution, and enduring legacy and historical and typographic understanding into a visually engaging booklet that reflected the spirit of the era in which Caslon was created.
The design approach drew inspiration from the colors, flourishes, and aesthetics of that time, weaving them into the structure and layout of the publication. The content was also reframed to feel more conversational and immersive with narrative and, elaborate language to make it more engaging.

Final Booklet Spreads
Drawing from these references and explorations, the final booklet visualized Caslon’s story through structured sections on its numerals, nuances, and historical significance. The visual language, color palette, and typographic detailing together built a cohesive narrative that tried to echo the character of Caslon.
