After completing a classroom data visualization project on gender diversity in Indian entertainment with a classmate, I wanted to explore the dataset further on my own.

My aim was not to repeat or extend the original work, but to experiment with how data can be expressed through visuals in a more playful, bold, and aesthetically engaging way.

Inspired by the topic, I reinterpreted the dataset as a personal project after the course ended. Without diving deeply into additional research, I focused on transforming the data into an different visual experience. The goal was to move away from conventional charts and shapes and instead create a graphic narrative that emphasized bold typography, vibrant colors, collage treatment.

This approach allowed me to explore how emotion, texture, and abstraction can enhance the communication of data-driven insights.
